I’ll be doing a couple of short (well, 45 minutes is short for me, anyway…) Dutch (or Flemish, I should say) Lightroom demoes at Professional Imaging in Nieuwegein in the Netherlands this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

There’s also a small exhibition of sixteen of my favourite Portraits Of Asia pictures that have been craftfully printed with a Durst Epsilon printer on Kodak paper by Fred Smit from Wiegers & Smit. Fred has almost 40 years of experience and it shows: the B&W prints are truly B&W and the amount of detail is just amazing.
On the picture at the top of this blogpost, it was the first time that I noticed that there was another car in the scene and that there’s a carpet standing about in the middle of nature. Only in Iran… Come and see them for yourself
When I’m not talking myself, you’ll find me listening to questions at the Adobe stand. And if all of those reasons are not good enough to motivate you to come: this year’s keynote speaker at Professional Imaging is the one and only Scott Kelby. Mister Photoshop himself! I wonder if I can get him to sign one of my books…

I was there yesterday (sunday) and I found your demo very interesting. I’m new at Lightroom; started working with LR3 beta and can’t wait until LR3 final is released. Your demo showed me even more new things I did not see before. Thanks.

Mooie show vandaag in Nieuwegein! Prachtige beelden en welverdiende aandacht voor het onvolprezen Lightroom. Ik had je sitenaam overgenomen van je Lightroom header, dus ik ga zo eens verder browsen over je site.
Leuke en interessante presentatie van je gezien, als ik me niet vergis liet je een aantal plug-ins de revue passeren welke donate-ware zouden zijn, ben de naam vergeten… zou je deze nog kunnen vermelden via DM of op je blog?

ik had het over LR2/Mogrify, een plugin die je tijdens het exporteren kan gebruiken om randen toe te voegen, copyrightgegevens, exif-info en dergelijke meer.
Op deze blogpost vind je een voorbeeld van een toepassing van LR2/Mogrify.
Daarnaast heb ik ook een snelle demo gedaan van TTG Client Response, een web-plugin om Contact Sheets online te zetten met de mogelijkheid dat klanten hun voorkeuren invullen en terugmailen.
Tenslotte heb ik het ook over LRB-Portfolio gehad. Daarmee kan je zelfs vanuit Lightroom een heuse website opzetten.
